Fishing Paphos as a guest.

You do not need to bring a thing. Come in with your holiday plans, leave with a set-up that fits them and the know-how to use it.

Came without gear?

That is how a lot of our visitors start. Some bring a travel rod and nothing else, some bring line that turns out to be wrong for the job.

Tell us what you have and where you are staying. We will make up what is missing and show you how it goes together, from the knot to the lure.

  • "I haven't fished in years but packed a small telescopic rod without hooks, floats etc. for my holiday."
    Dean, Google review
  • "Bien expliqué, prix très abordables : 25€ pour une semaine de vacances à la pêche !"
Mathieu L., Google review. In English: well explained, very affordable, 25€ for a week of holiday fishing.

Four things to tell us at the counter.

Where you are staying

So we can talk about the water near you: rocks, beach, harbour or a boat trip.

How many days you have

A single morning needs a different kit from a week of sessions.

Who is fishing

First timers, children, or someone who fishes every weekend at home. We pitch the gear and the advice to match.

What you already packed

Bring it along. If your travel rod or reel will do the job, we will only add what is missing.

Before you head out.

A few things every angler on this coast learns early.

Rocks. Wear shoes with grip, check the swell before you step down, and keep the sea in sight. Wet limestone is slippery.

Light. Early morning and the last hour before dark are the times most anglers here plan around. Midday sun is hard on you and on the fishing.

Rules. Cyprus has rules on licences, protected areas and the size of fish you may keep. They differ for rod fishing, boats and spearfishing, so ask us what applies to your plans before you go.

Visitors, in their own words.

"Awesome place, they stock everything you could possibly need for fishing. helpful and knowledgeable staff and they're polite and friendly. just wish there was a fishing shop like this in england"

Google review

"I went into this shop hoping to get some local information regarding fishing from the rocks close to lighthouse beach. I was helped no end..."

Stephen L.

"Popped in whilst on holiday to get some LRF lures and have a look, the staff were really helpful. Massive range of major craft rods, and a good range of Shimano and Daiwa, loads of quality equipment and things we can't get at home."

Jack R.
